Designation: SAP Presales Technical Consultant
Job Nature: Permanent position with the client
Job Location: Kallang Avenue, Singapore
Budget: $3800 ~ $4,300 Basic + VB + AWS (13th month salary) + Transport Allowance + Mobile Allowance
Job Description:
? SAP: Key skills required in Analytics, data warehousing and/or database (Sybase). Priority would be in Analytics or data warehouse. Candidates with IBM Cognos, SAP Business Object experience would fit well and will be considered.
? Mandatory: Experience in Analytics and/or Business Intelligence (BI), with a technical background, plus customer-facing exposure
Key Responsibilities:
? Understand and analyze customers? requirements to design the technical solutions which meet customers? needs.
? Work with Product managers to enhance SAP with new features that address customer needs
? Provide consultation to help clients with the planning and implementation of SAP
? Co-ordinate and work with Sales Operation & Solution/Product management to conduct technical presentation, product demonstration during the sales cycle.
? Develop technical proposals, statements of work, and pricing.
? Conduct hands-on workshop, product training to customers and business partners.
? Develop and conduct proof of concept to Customers (if necessary).
? Provide on-going technical consultancy and product information to key customers and business partners in enhancing the mutual understanding & technical direction.
? Co-ordinate and work with Services/Implementation team for pre- and post- implementation work for customers
? Together with members of the sales team, investigate, understand and articulate customer business requirements
? Identify customer pain points or areas of concern
? Architect a solution to address the customer?s needs and pains
? Confirm solution fit and identify customer specific benefits that will help contribute to a unique business value offering with demonstrable ROI indicators
? Effectively communicate technical answers to questions customers may have regarding the solution
? Keep in touch with customers and look for opportunities to sell the company?s products deeper into the customer base
? Maintain solid, technical understanding of products in conjunction with business benefits
? Identify the appropriate solutions that meet the customers? requirements
? Deliver product presentations tailored to the customers? requirements
? Effectively communicate technical answers to questions customers may have regarding the solution
? Configure applications for proof of concept
? Run product demonstrations
? Maintain solid, technical understanding of products in conjunction with business benefits
Key Requirements:
- Qualified to degree or diploma level in a technical field.
- Minimum 2 years in relevant Pre Sales Context
- In addition to the obvious technical knowledge requirement a strong appreciation of the sales process will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer service, account management and negotiation skills with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients
- Ability to work under pressure
