Service desk Analyst:Multi-lingual

Designation: Service Desk Analyst- Multi-lingual
Job role: Permanent with Bartronics Asia Pte Ltd
Joining Period: Immediate to 15 Days
Experience Levels: 1-4 Years
Salary: up to 3k per month
Shifts: 8 hour shift between 7am ? 8pm Local Time / Monday ? Friday (Covering China and Japan)
Language: Good Read / Write and Converse skills on Languages
Education:
? * NITEC / Diploma in Information Technology / Bachelor?s Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
? * JLPT N1 Certification (for non-Japanese natives) ? Optional
Job Description:
? Meet established service level metrics for call response, technical support, and customer service
? Provide Help Desk support for End users and Level 1 Support for IT Infrastructure and Applications
? Log Incidents / trouble calls into Service Desk Application (Service Now)Monitor incoming customer ticket queues for assignment, follow-up, and resolution
? Use remote tools such as Dame Ware / BOMGAR to troubleshoot and resolve end users laptops, desktops, mobile devices (Apple ipad / iphone, Android Phones, Blackberry devices and other mobile smart phones)
? Perform Help Desk opening and closing checklists
? Research and update Knowledge Base for solutions that can be used to provide first-contact resolution
? Perform installation/ troubleshooting / configuring of MS Outlook Client, MS Office Applications software and Antivirus Software etc.
? Provide follow-up service to end-users to ensure that service provided by the Help Desk has addressed their needs in a timely and efficient manner
? Perform in depth troubleshooting of desktop/ laptop computers, printers, and other directly attached peripherals to identify trouble issues
? Provide / Assist users with basic Level 1 troubleshooting of Business Applications, Share Point Portals, Active Directory, MS Exchange Email, Blackberry, File Server, Print Server, MS Lync etc.
? Provide basic trouble shooting for Networks (LAN, Wireless LAN), User Telephones etc.
Skills required:
? Previous experience of providing remote Help Desk / Service Desk support is a must
? Working experience in the following
o Desktops / Laptops / Peripheral Devices (Printers/scanners etc)
o MS Windows XP / MS Windows 7 Desktop Operating System
o MS Office Applications ? including MS Outlook Client Installation, troubleshooting and working with PST Files
o Antivirus Software
o LAN / Wireless LAN / Video Conferencing / Audio Conferencing - Basic Trouble shooting skills in networks
o Mobile Devices ? Apple ipad & iphone / Android Tablets and phones / Microsoft Tablets and phones
o Active Directory ? User Account Management
o End User Laptop / Desktop ? Image configuration and software patch update
o Virtual Desktops (VDI)
o Basic Applications Support based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
o Experience using a ticketing systems (BMC Remedy or Service Now)
? ITIL v3 Certification is a plus
